    Hi

What Windows version and Service Pack are you using?

Is this a desktop or laptop?

When you get the BSOD, what is the full message? is this before or during using Chkdsk?

Possibles are a hardware error, faulting HDD, RAM or other components, so try the below....

    1. Can you boot into Safe Mdoe (F8 at boot) ok and run Chkdsk but run it from a command (CMD) prompt and use the command chkdsk /r

    2. also run and again from the CMD prompt

fixboot X: (where X: is the hard drives you have installed in your PC, as you may have C: D: E: etc)

Fixmbr and you need to do this from the Recovery Console

    3. Test your RAM (memory) and do this with the individual sticks of ram in at once (so one at a time) Memtest

But more information on what issue you're having would help too, as when did this start happening, just today or for a while, was it just after you installed new hardware and if so what, was it after installing new software and again what?
