I am wanting to install a 64mb graphics card , but I'm having problems trying to find out what card I can install in my desktop. I know its an old computer. I've been pretty happy with the preformance of it except I would like to get it upgraded to a 64mb graphics. Here are my specs attachted. I hope I did it right and its viewable.

64mb is old school. Post the model & manufacturer of the computer, not some data file ran by some program on your computer.

Thanks for replying Brownizs, the model #M825VXX and the manufacturer is ECS. Just incase the processor is AMD Athlon XP , Memory is 1024mb, with S3 Graphics ProSavageDDR.

According to eHow, your board takes a 4X AGP 2.0 graphics card.

AGP graphic cards are harder to find, given motherboards have been using PCI-e cards for several years. I agree with brownizs: If you are going to invest in a video card, get one that is at least 256, preferably 512.

Here's one on Newegg worth considering (just be sure to get one that's 4x compatible):

    Hope this helps. :)

Thanks brownizs, I was only asking about a 64mb cause I didn't think that my computer would be able to handle much more cause of how old it is. But I diffently will go and find me a 512mb card.

A lot of people have been saying that they have had problems with Newegg.com recently. Check around locally to see if you can get one than order out.

Some better choices on amazon.com Depending on what you are doing with the machine, depends on what card. If just the Internet, email, documents, go with a 64mb. Gaming will be hard with that old of a machine, but movies should work okay with one of the 512mb.

I wanted the upgrade to be able to play some of the online games, my wifes computer has a 64mb card and you can really see the difference. But most of all I'm wanting to get into 3D graphics design (3D Studio).
