Chopped off page when printing from a website

Hi MajorGeeks,
I have a curious problem: if I print a standard A4 page from MS Word, it prints in full. If, however, I print a webpage from the internet, the right hand edge of the page is chopped of by about 1 inch. I have checked my page margins which are set at 1 inch top, bottom, left and right.
Your suggestions will be appreciated.

I may be wrong but it has to do with all that ads on a webpage you need to highlight the text portions you want to print, then select print and instead of having it print all pages you need to tell it to print the selection.

I know that Internet Explorer browser isn't concerned about page size. It doesn't recognize such a thing. The best you can do is set your print margins as close to 0 as your printer will allow and hope you get the whole page printed. If you want to be sure to get it all....do a printscreen and paste it into word and print from word.

This doesn't help if it is an online document you wish to print. More sites need to have a "Print Friendly" button to make the web page article printer-friendly.

 

as said above, if it doesn't have a print friendly button then you may just want to copy the text to a text document and print it from there.
