No I hadnt until you mentioned it in this thread, is it good, well I just tried it and it's pretty accurate in picking up my drivers and software that needs updating ( much better than another app I used a month or so ago, cannot remember its name tho, but it was way off ).

Would I pay, well no as its just as easy once the free scan has finished to go to the manufacturers or software devs websit end download the update for free!


Update: well I went through the listings manually and while it does alert you to software updates, they may also not be upto date fully ie. Filezilla they list for me this version as latest 2.2.19.0 while a quick look at the Majorgeeks listing for Filezilla as I know we have this app listed, shows an even newer version. in 2.2.22.

as a summary, while a great way to check for any updates that maybe around for your Hardware or Software, a quick check of the makers support page or the likes of Majorgeeks when armed with the update versions would be ok longer to get to your updates but alot cheaper, but to some they may not have the time so yes I would say that RadarSync is a fair option if you wish to pay.
