FYI FWIW: I've actually corrected a few web sites where they though this was my christmas lights - it was done by Carson Williams from Mason Ohio - outstanding job - I wish I had the budget to this. While I have not actually seen it in person and therefore can't vouch for the authenticity, I believe it is real and certainly doable. Someone dropped it on PutFile which still seems to work - this video went basically everywhere!

They featured this on our local news last night. (No, Ohio hasn't moved to the west coast!).

It was pretty awesome to see it on the big screen. The guy doesn't want to annoy his neighbors, so the music isn't "live" at the house. You have to tune to a radio channel to hear the music. Most people drive and park up, tune in and watch. He turns the lights off at 10.00pm to keep the locals happy. Apparently it all started a few years agoi when his wife asked him to put a few lights up outside. Be very careful ladies what you ask for ;)

Carson's display is awesome - my only regret is I won't be able to see it in person - he's in Ohio and I'm in Colorado. I'm hoping a high-res version comes out and Miller Beer was shooting some sort of commercial at his place - that should be cool.

A piece of bad news is that he has shut it down due to too many rubber-neckers and public safety concerns. Unfortunately, this was bound to happen.

Fortunately, the big crowds that come by to see (and control!) my 26,000 christmas lights are in cyberspace ... so that's a little easier to manage. And the theme this year is "Christmas Lights for Celiac Disease" as we have already raised almost $3,000 for the University of Maryland ... so far! ;-)

I was on vacation for a week and half. Getting adjusted to not having a real life is a bit rough!!

They did "Tacky Christmas" in the Richmond, VA area. They turn most of them on Dec 5- I flew back Dec 2 and missed them all.

    TY Ricky for the OP

TY AS for the catch...... :p
