I must have made some changes. Now when I attempt to open Chrome all my tabs are grayed out
and have a frown on the tab icon.

My Firefox and IE browsers are working.

    Any ideas?

Can you say what version of Chrome you have.
Just as a quick test have you first launched 'Task Manager' in windows, and clicked to 'end' any/all chrome.exe tasks showing, then relaunched Chrome to see if it launches normally?

OK, used Task Mgr to close Chrome, relaunched, no luck.

I had previously (after problems started) deleted Chrome and downloaded a version from MG.
Re-booted several times. Also ran Revo

Still opening with frown face on every tab. Went to Help within Chrome, About Google Chrome but it will not open
to tell me which version I have.

Right clicked on the Chrome icon on my desktop and under Properties it says 'Google Chrome.Ink', type Shortcut, size 2.20 KB, date created 2/2/2016

The version I d/l was 'Chrome Standalone Setup' Maybe its not the correct one?
