Chrome - New Profile Causing Problems

Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me with a chrome problem.

I set up a new profile in chrome to go with a new gmail address I set up. As soon as I did that, the chrome browser window froze and nothing responded when I clicked on it. I couldn't close the browser window unless I used task manager to close down Chrome, then as soon as I opened chrome again, the same profile opened up and froze again.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling chrome, but as soon as it is installed it just opens up the same browser window with the same profile and is completely unresponsive, I therefore can't get in to chrome settings at all.

I am looking for a way to reinstall chrome without it finding and loading that new profile that is obviously stored in appdata.

I do desperately want to keep my logins and passwords that are saved in chrome. I don't mind losing the bookmarks.

Is there a way I can clear out all the chrome data after I uninstall but keep the logins and passwords, so that when I reinstall chrome I will still have all of them in chrome where they belong? Ideally I'd also like to retain all my chrome profiles apart from that new one, but if I have to lose them I can live with that.

Sorted the problem myself. I located the chrome profiles on my hard drive and deleted the last two, which were both very recent and then reinstalled chrome. All OK now!"
