I don't have Chrome browser installed. I am running Windows 7, fairly fresh install, and checking out the services I see "Chrome" That's it, no description, no nothing and It's not started. I have seen this on two of my computers but when I search for "Chrome Service" with Google, I find next to nothing related. I do have a Galaxy Nexus (Android) phone that I connect to my computer. It's connected right now in fact and the service isn't started. Just wondering if anyone else has this. Probably something basic that I'm over thinking / complicating.

No Chrome Service listed under Services on my 64 bit Windows 7 Home Premium install.

SuperAntiSpyware Caught it. No idea how serious it was, but it seems to have taken care of it.

HI Glad whatever this was is sorted, but I and likely others would like to know what the actual apps name was and its path location on Windows, if you could post this it would be great.

I know that google does add a hell of alot of background apps you are not aware of and your Android OS and its manager app could be part of this as well as any google app you use from google desktop, search etc
