Chrome - Taskbar Right-click Context Menu

This is an annoyance which has irritated me for several months now, though it isn't exactly a crucial or important aspect of my system in terms of normal/stable functionality. I just thought I'd inquire as to whether or not anyone else has noticed this or if, perhaps, someone knows the cause or reason behind it.

In the past, I've always had a jump list and a right-click context menu for the Chrome icon on my task bar. Approximately 6 months ago (maybe longer) this all disappeared, and the only options I had left were to unpin, open Chrome, or, if an open window had already been launched, the option to close it.

I momentarily regained the 'jump list' and options I once had a couple months back, but it was short lived. Other than uninstalling Chrome, clearing any lingering registry entries or traces of it ever being installed, then reinstalling it, I haven't really even bothered to look into this very deeply. I just assumed it had to be an update or something Google decided to push out and that's that.

Seems like I did read some posts about this once upon a time, but I obviously didn't find any real answers. If anyone happens to know what the deal with this is, or by some rare miracle, knows how to revert back to the old way without disappearing again, you'd be THE MAN! (or woman).
