Chromebook Won't Boot

Hey y'all noobie here. I have a dell 3120 that I duel booted Ubuntu on. All was well until I tried installing a script from mrchromebox to put gallium is on the Chromebook. The script never finished because the write protect screw was still in place. Anyway, I shut down and rebooted and nothing. It boots to the grub boot menu but won't boot. I can get to the grub shell and efi shell but everything I've found online didn't get me up and running. I'm hoping someone on this sight can help me out. I can't boot from a live USB because the Chromebook doesn't read it. HELP. Thanx
