Cindysnoopy: Cornerstone

I just found out from my daughter and her fiance that Cornerstone is ran by JPUSA! I wish I had known this before as my wife and I would have tried to make arrangements to meet you and your family there this year. Instead we will have to wait until next year's event and try to hook up with you finally. Hope, if you went, that it was a wonderful and spirit fulfilling time! Would like a revie by you about it to compare with my daughters! Cya Cindy!!

My friend played in Cornerstone this year. He has a band named LoPhat.

 

Wraith man you computer must run really slow seeing as it runs at 1.2mhz how did you get xp to run on it :? hehe

 

Here it is, just found it. Yep, we run it. I'm still amazed that we pull it off every year.

Was another nice year this year. It was a little quiet. Only 14,000 people. It would be great to meet up with some of the folks here at the Fest. Eric and I are there every year. Eric does security every year, and I'm at the Fest Trailer doing communications. We're actually not too hard to find out there, which is not something that many people can say. In fact, part of my job is helping people find eachother out there.

Didn't really get to see many bands. I saw The Crossing of course. They did Eric's new song, Epitaph (thank you Gary ) along with several other new songs. I think they'll be recording sometime next year. I got to hear Switchfoot while I was falling asleep. Sounded pretty good. They played both of the songs I wanted to hear. Wanted to hear Jan Krist, but I was up in a helicopter with Drexel while she was playing. He loved it. I would have like to see Murdering Cannons as well. Friend's of ours in that band, but it wasn't convenient timing with the kids. I got to spend lots of time at Creation Station though. The lollipop sisters were great. I got a free t-shirt from the new Chronicles of Narnia movie.

Our mother board fried, so we're on an old hunk of junk (running Windows 98) but once we get up and running again, we'll get a rough copy of the song sent off to you. We were actually going to post our newegg shopping list for a new computer to see what the geeks thought about it. Gotta remember to do that. (we'll repair the old one as well and pass that to Kolya for her new room). Between this slow machine and the power and/or internet connection going out (this poor old building just can't handle it all) we haven't been online a whole lot since we got back.

 

Sorry to hear about your MB, do you need a new one? Once Michael (our son) gets home this weekend from CIY I will ask what he has in his box of goodies and maybe I can send you a low-end MB that still works. What CPU do you have and is it still good?

On to Cornerstone, my daughter says I may wish to get our tickets early for next year. Can you let me know when they go on sale, where I can get them and how much they cost? I'm looking forward to seeing you there next summer.

Also, are there any other events we may be interested in that JPUSA hosts near our area? I would love to be able to take the wife someplace special this summer or fall and be able to enjoy ourselves (and maybe even meet with you and Eric!). Anyway, let me know the answers, inquiring minds wish to know
