Is there anywhere where I can buy circuits for turning on the computer? You know, the circuit behind the power button on the tower that plugs into the motherboard. Or is this something that just comes with each case and you cannot buy them separately?

    Hi, Mjames,

There is no circuit behind the power button. There is only a single pole momentary switch with two leads and a connector to plug into the Mother Board. All circuits for startup are on the MB. Any similar switch can be used. The usual test of the startup function is to short the two pins that the switch plugs to with a small screwdriver, paper clip or etc. If it starts that way and not with the switch, the switch is bad. If you have a multimeter and know how to use it, you can use the Ohm Meter to check the switch with the power removed from the PSU. Hope this helps a bit.

    Good Luck, Jim
