Civilization IV or Age of Empires 3

I fancy one of these games to play the hell out of over christmas anyone offer a guide as to which is best?

 

I enjoy both of them alot, the problem with Civ 4 is that its buggy, they just released a patch but it doesn't seem it has fixed too many bugs, but just a small patch of em'. ie it wouldn't launch with ati cards, there were dx9 errors when you launched it, random CTD's etc.. Once the game is "fully" working w/o errors the games a blast, and multiplayer is even funner.

AOE3 on the other hand is mainly bug free-ish (MS releasing a 2nd patch for it), its very graphics intensive and a cpu hogger, so you need a good system for it, the thing with this game is no one-strategy works to win the game, the AI is very simple / easy when you play skrimish. If you pay vs hard/hardest the only difference is the AI has alot more resources to play with, so while your on age 1, theyre on 3-4 which is stupid.

 

I would recommend you too get Age of Empires III..its a fun game.
