Hey,
I have a little problem, I use Windows XP and if i select Windows Classic apperance after restart it change to Windows XP style. What can I do?

If you want the old XP original Gray metallic look, just right click My Computer then click Properties, then click Advanced tab, then click Settings under Performance and uncheck all the boxes then click Apply.

 

I'm pretty sure when u say XP original grey look you mean Classic. Well, same problem, after restart change to XP style (blue one, u know).

 

Well, u didn't see what i write.. I Can change theme to Windows Classic but after restart it change to Windows XP style..

Automatic and if i Disable after restart stay to Classic but idk how to say, minimize, maximize, close buttons get bigger and font change to the XP style font.
It's like a Classic combination with XP style. I think the problem is somewhere in registry.

Hi---Had same problem when running IOBIT Advanced System Care---would always change my classic back to XP

I repeat too, same problem.

 

I'm trying buddy, it's just taking awhile. I also tried out my solution on 2 different machines and it worked, and also stayed that way, I also tried plodrs solution on another and it worked too. So I'm still trying buddy.Oh, and don't take any offense on my " I repeat", that's just my dry humor.

Try this, it may stop Windows from finding the other themes. "ONLY TRY IT IF YOU ARE COMFORTABLE DOING THIS, IT IS AN AT OWN RISK TYPE OF MOVE" !!!! C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes folder, and renamed Luna.theme to Luna.theme_backup and the Luna folder to Luna_backup.

 

I already try, can't change name.
