I have a system running Windows XP. There are four partitions

    C:\ (System Partition)
    D:\ (Contains Documents)
    E:\ (Contains Documents)

    ie. C:\ , D:\ & E:\ are partitions in HDD 0

F:\ (Separate Internal Hard Disk on SATA) => HDD 1

XP is giving me problems, so I bought a new OS - Vista Home Premium and I want to install it after removing XP. Can I format C:\ and install Vista Home Premium while leaving the data on the other partitions intact? I know it can be done with XP...

How about I move all the data I want intact to F:\ and then I format HDD 0 completely? Will Vista be able to access the files in F:\ after that?

    Thanks....
