Cleaning a USB drive

I have a USB drive I want to put pictures on to hook up to a digital picture frame. I deleted all files currently on the drive. Then ran the Ccleaner wipe function on it using the 7 pass function. When I hook the drive up to the picture frame with some pictures I put on it it shows the pictures but also starts to play music. How can I clean the drive better? Get rid of these music files that I already deleted?

 

Is this a USB flash/thumb drive?

Which version of Windows are you using? It should just be a matter of formatting the drive to completely erase it. Does it have any special software you need like SanCruzer's U3 software?
