cleaning juice off a keyboard

    That pretty much says it all, my daughter spilled orange juice on her keyboard. My knowledge doesn't go past blowing or turning it upside down and shake shake shake (oh wait thats a song) :-D
    Anyway, help would be appreciated, thank you

    Some say you can put a keyboard in the dishwasher while others say absolutely not. I don't think I'd try it in the dishwasher. What I would try for juice, because it is sticky and the keys eventually won't type properly is spraying it with distilled water and then letting it dry for 2 - 3 days. I'd probably have someone hold the keyboard upside down so what I sprayed in would drip out and maybe carry the dried juice with it.

    You could use Isopropyl alcohol (91% or higher)
    Put in in a spray bottle and flood the keyboard, while unplugged ;) then drip off the excess and repete... several times... then let dry

    I'd just open it up, pop out the affected keys, and clean all the sticky areas.
