Cleaning up after AVG

Trying to remotely help a friend who is getting AVG related screens opening on every startup despite having uninstalled it. Does anyone know of a post-uninstall cleanup utility that might eradicate this? The friend doesn't have enough experience to use advanced tools such as Process Explorer.

There's an AVG Remover listed here - don't know if it's a post-cleaner or if it should be run during the removal process, but it might be worth looking at.

@ Caliban - the AVG remover didn't fix it but I persuaded the lady to have a go with Autoruns and that seems to have fixed it. Now she wants to marry me :eek

 

If she is comfortable with the powerful Autoruns program then maybe you should marry her.
