I have read some of the other post - however every time I go into the "Advanced" in "My Computer Properties" everything is grayed out.

One more question on pagefiles - - I have two drives - one is partitioned (C: and X:).

    I have the following pagefile:
    C: 1,572,336 KB
    X: 281,600 KB
    D: 1,572,336 KB

Isn't it strange to have two pagefile the same size ?

No. Particularly if the two drives are the same size and Windows uses a % of the hd space for virtual memory (aka pagefile/swap)
