You need to provide us with more information such as Operating system details, and which e-mail program you are referring to. Do you have any anti malware app's installed that could be blocking you from clicking attachments?

windows xp,avira antivir,malware bytes anti malware,POP UP BLOCKER BUT DONT KNOW IF ITS AN APP,virgin broadband is where i check my e mail.

Hi

Which email application are you using? or is it you use online email like Yahoo or Gmail etc?

Is your Windows XP fully upto date? as in Service Pack 3, to check click Start > Run and type winver and hit enter.

Worth a side note, clicking links in emails is usually a bad idea. A lot of phishing is done this way.

I uninstalled a recent app called toodoodel it has fixed it.thanks everyone.

VERY good advice from MajorAttitude. if i'm not 100% sure of what the link is, and i want to know what it might be, i copy/paste the link into Google and see what search results come back.
