    Hi, im working on a client/friends computer and the computer turns black when any usb cable is plugged into the front two ports. Wondering if anyone has some info on that they could share before i run diagnostics... thanks.

    Sounds like it may be a possible grounding issue - check any cables from the ports to the motherboard. Also possible that they're connected incorrectly.

    USB devices are okay when connected to any back panel ports?

    Also, check Device Manager for any USB hub/port flags.
