Hello. I would appreciate it if anyone could offer any input on the system process that runs at startup on my system called "CLIStart" CLIStart.exe by ATI. It is from my video card (X800 GTO) and is probably from the latest version of catalyst, but I don't know exactly what it does. I have had shutdown problems that hangs on windows shut down blue screen and I read that one guy tracked a similar problem to a bug in that file/process. Question is: what does it do, is it important for function of ATI video card, and can I safely disable it and not have it run at startup? Any input or info. on the process is greatly appreciated.

I found this, but i would wait for another answer from someone more familiar with the process or ask in Malware Forum because they are more up on processes.

Anyone out there with ATI vid cards? I know many of ATI cards have this process- atleast those that use catalyst software.
