Well I could have sworn that I downloaded it off this site myself but I can't find it either. It's called aawcloak.exe and you only need it if Ad-Aware won't open and run. I put it on one of my web sites for you if you are in need of it.

Adaware latest version is AdAware SE

    Ad-Aware SE Personal http://www.majorgeeks.com/download506.html

Is the cloak program updated/still required, for SE version? or only AdaWare up to version 6? Baz

PS: Harvey, if you are not using AdAware SE, I suggest that you update. Baz

I don't know if its needed or updated bigbazza. I have never had to use it myself to get Ad-aware loaded. I use Ad-aware 6.0 Professional which is still updated and supported. My last reference file was updated 10/26. Is SE different or better than Professional?

If the cloak is not needed let me know and I will take it down. No need to waste space for a useless file.

I am only guessing, but my guess is that the cloaking is not required for SE version. Never had to use it, either. Someone will correct me if I am wrong. As to SE free version versus v6.0 Professional, all I can say is that it is cheaper. ;) :) :D Maybe you should upgrade to SE Pro version if you don't mind paying. I/m a cheapskate (broke):p so use free versions whenever I can. Bazza

Thats me in a nut shell(broke) LMAO :D I only raked the cobwebs off my wallet and paid for it to get the extra features then, sadly I realized that they weren't worth it. :p I guess I'll stick with 6.0 Professional on principle (cause I spent money) but I prob should give SE a look.

If there is a time limit on v6 Pro, I'd use it until that runs out. Then switch to SE, or switch to SE now and write off your investment in v6 pro to experience. Bazza

Will they transfer you (unused portion?), from V6 Pro to SE Pro, for free? Worth a try. Bazza
