CMedia sound problems

    Anyone have problems with this chipset? All sounds good when running, but I get an audible buzz then CTD. Does this when playing games, listening to music threw Winamp, even a few websitews that have sound has caused CTD. I'm lost here. Tried everything I know & no change whatsoever. Newer drivers, old drivers, bla bla bla.

    Thought maybe it could be a software issue, complete reformat later & it still does it. :rolleyes:

    Whats CTD? ( not come across that term or may have but dont recognise it )

    Also have you tried other speakers to narrow them out of the equasion?

    Oh yea "Crash to Desktop". lol

    Yes different speakers, headphones & nothin' at all.
