CMOS battery low?

soo I just bought a new biostar A785G3 and for some reason it hangs on a black screen whenever it reboots. Like when I tried to install windows and it reboots the computer it just hangs at a black screen. Like bios doesnt even pop up. Also the date and time are reset and all of my settings. Ive changed the battery with a new one i found around the house. bios still says its low. ive tried updating the bios but with no luck. Has anyone ever run into a problem like this? any way to fix this with out getting a whole new board?

 

Buy a new battery don't be lazy, the last one that you put was new?

 

itmortiz beat me to the punch. buy a new battery.
They are cheap and easy to fit.
Whether this is the solution, or not, it can't hurt and will remove one possibility at least.

it was kinda new. like still in its package.. well anyways i replaced the board and the new one is working well. thanks anyways though!
