Hello, all.. i'm new here... but here goes...

About a week ago my video card generated C++ errors while playing an online game, City of Heroes. So i ended up buying a new video card. It was about 3 years old.

About 2 days ago... my network card finally went out on me.. it was at least 5 years old.. so no biggie.

Around the same time as the network card was replaced... i started getting blue screens, random reboots, and lock-ups.

I installed all of the correct drivers... uninstalled... tested my RAM... virus scanned it safe mode with trend micro and my own antivir still kept acting up. So, i tried to "upgrade" windows XP.. when it created its partition and reboot itself...the computer locked up... so i rebooted... tried to run it again from its partition.. i recieved the IRQL_NOT_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL, IRQ_NOT_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL, and win32K.sys errors.

So, i boot up from the CD after i changed CMOS (bios)... it blue screened with the IRQL and then the general "stop" error. After i let it rest for a bit.. i come back to try again from the CD rom... i got a CMOS checksum error... and saw that it had "defaulted" itself...

So, same things happen.. i try to change it up in CMOS again... it doesn't even boot up from CD rom at all...

So, can anyone tell me WTF i can do... or if maybe i have a CMOS virus... or what? Should I jsut hook up the HDD to another computer and zero it out.. and try to reinstall win XP ?

PS. I also have found out that my secondary HDD that i use for paging has bad sectors. (but i dun think that has much to do with BIOS and such?)

Any help or ideas are appreciated.
