cmospwd 4.6 to crack acer 240 tm bios ?

well i think that describes what im trying to do..
my brother bought the labtp fom a friend for $550.
{ nice huh} well his friend dosent remember the bios password;
I heard that cmospwd4.6 can crack the bios password..ive tried
using it but i couldnt get it to work.
aftetr i type cmospwd int c:\ prompt what do i do: it has a readme
file but it isnt enough ..
Can any body tell me what to type next?
its an acer 240tm with a phoenix bios..ive tried back door bios passwords
none worked..Can anybody help??
