I am trying to load a card reader/writer that I use for sewing. I know not the typical problem I'm sure, but I've looked everywhere for help on this. I use windowsXP, service pack 2 and I'm having problems. If I do successfully get the reader/writer loaded, after I use it once, then it says the device can't be found. I am having no luck getting it installed tonight. I've uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled several times and still get the Code 10 Error. The driver I'm using is the latest driver so that isn't the problem. The instructions say it needs the .ini file but I can't get that to go, only the .sys file will install. Can anyone help?

I imagine its a USB reader/writer. Unplug it reboot the computer then plug it backin, If you see nothing happen, then go into control panel, under add/remove programs you will see add new programs. Install from there or by going into device managment and going into the device and updating the driver from there. Not that you didnt, but have you updated the driver or checked for an updated driver for the reader/writer on the we site?

They are held until you delete them you will get a cleaner system. Under explorer, right click then properties, under general tab, you will see delete cookies, delete files and then you will see delete off line check box as well. You might have better luck to install the software, without the reader/writer plugged in while you're installing. Then plug it in after you reatart the computer after the install.
