==> CODEC PROBLEM, ASAP (for uni video)<==

Hey,

I recently installed "VLC player" and a small codec pack, worked fine for a whole month, until now..

now, windows media playing will NOT play video or audio, ever time i open a file of any type it says "opening media" ive left it for 1 hour but still nothing,

VLC randomly crashes, i think i have a major codec problem!

its really annoying, i cant even view "internet videos" the video image goes all messed up and scrambled!

ive tried full widnows media updates and official patches, uninstalling, reinstalling etc,..

please help me, i cant even view my university tutorial videos!
