codes changing? omg sum1 help plz

omg am i just goin crazy and seeing things or can codes just change themselvs??? something is seriously wrong, im makin an gonna b runnin a site for sum1 and i was just about done.. was just goin throu n seeing if any last broken links or such n on one page i made one alteration.... just forgot to put an </a> on. .. so anyways that was the only problem.. n i fixed it.. saved the code... n refreshed the page to check once more.. n then this is when it started goin haywire... my codes seemed to be changing on thier own.. i would find something from my codes... they would change from
<tr> to &lt;tr>
"" to &quote;"
</a><br> turned into </a&gt;<br>
> turned into &gt; and
"> turned into &amp;quot;>

wuts goin on???? i find the problems,... n i fix all of them.. n then i save code and refresh the page.. and those problems are fixed, but now theres new ones??? wtf is goin on??? does this happen???? i am really loosing it now.. i cant take this.. can sum1 plz help ???? its still doin it.. its ben almost 3 hrs now i dont know what to do.. can sum1 plz help

Second of all, what site are you using for the code, or are you using Dreamweaver?

 

im sorry, i can use proper grammer when i need to, its just faster that way. and i figure since no one elce online bothers why should i? but anyways.. no im not using dreamweaver, im using tripod html editor. and i have ben for a few weeks and this problem never happened before. also, its only happening in one or two places on a page where theres hundreds of those specific characters. so i dont understand whats happening.

 

hey your not alone....there is probably somthing wrong with there online WYSIWYG editor. You could find a new host or use dreamweaver... its byfar the best.

 

i wish i could just find a new server if that would solve the problem, but im making thsi site for someone elce using thier account.. i hope this dosnt last *sigh* thank you for replying thou. i see ur also from NH.. small world lol

 

If your looking for a free server you could always use ripway.com, freewebs, or cjb.net

... and New Hampshire is the best!
