CODUO is it fair?

I'm a keen fps online gamer,lately the flavour of the month for me is call of duty united offensive.I'v been playing it for about month online,my favourite mode is base assault.

I always use auto assigne teams so I'm not stuck with the same weapons,my question is are the maps in favour of the axis "germans"

Since playing on both sides I have noticed a trend that the bases are easier to assault being german and the weapons are also more accurate.

I would love to here anyone elses views on this,wether they have studied the maps,know anything about the design of them or just through personal experience as to which team has the advantage,I would love to hear its perfectly fair as I really enjoy playing this game.
