Was rooting through crowdfunding sites this morning as I usually do of a weekend and came across this one for a collapsible drinks cup https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/stojo-biggie-collapsible-leak-proof-coffee-cup#/ neat as my ridged coffee too-go mug is a bit cumbersome once finished with it, see attached.

SO thought this a great idea, anyone have other ideas for too-go cups/mugs?

Have a leaning to getting involved with new ideas like this, have funded at least 10 and 3 have come to final products that I have now, one notable is a cool watch from http://morveau.com/ and Luke the creator is a great designer.

I use my travel mug to get coffee from home, to the car and via the car in to work. At work I have a nice big desk (I have a double cubicle all to myself :) ), so whether a mug is big and bulky or not, is not something I'm likely to even notice. What I do notice is if the mug doesn't keep my coffee hot for hours, or if it leaks. I use this big guy as my primary travel mug these days. It was in my Christmas stocking last year, and is of the few stocking gifts I've ever been given that's still seeing daily use.

Travel mug scan be very frustrating. when I was in college, and spent my days walking between classes, portability was important in a travel mug, but it was incredibly frustrating to me that the smaller and less bulky they were, the less effective they were at keeping my coffee hot.

For what it's worth, the Contigo mugs come in 14 oz and 12 oz sizes if you want smaller, but none of them are collapsible.

Don't have a collapsible cup and I like my coffee HOT so I prefer stainless steel mug. I have a yeti cup I like a lot, hot or cold.

Your question still applies to that picture though Joffa... coffee mug or chamber pot?

Could be:D After that much coffee you may need a chamber pot.

Great ideas folks and I just look for something I can take to clinic that's easily portable, sadly not trained the nurses yet to make me a drink mid morning... but they do a great job anyways. Hoping this crowdfund idea is a winner.

Cool idea David. Although I never have a need for a collapsible mug but can see how it would come in handy.

I would like to know how people know that an idea or venture they are giving money to on those sites is legit. I've only done it once and it was for the third installment of the The Longest Journey computer game, so I knew it was legit. What happens if it fails or they don't raise enough? Do people get their money back?

I have to say, I thought the to go coffee thing was an American thing as it hasn't been that long since German cars actually put cup holders in their cars and last time I was in London, they looked at me funny when I asked for my coffee in a to go cup rather than a real glass coffee mug. I also noticed people were not carrying their coffee around on the streets.

I have heard those are great. I definitely need to get one!

One coffee type I'm very tempted to try, and I've done some crazy stuff in the past.

Kopi Luwak. Anyone try this? Kinda expensive.

I looked this up and you can have it all to yourself
Coffee part digested by civet cats then the beans are gathered from their poo
Gathering these beans would be a great job o_O

Grind our own great but anyone got good ideas for containers? the one I listed and have supported in 1st post is a winner as I have rigid metal ones but something to collapse is way to go.

There was a blind test of coffees couple years ago and results were interesting. Can't remember much of the details but people who were die hard fans of one brand or another most often choose a different brand of coffee in a blind test. Same thing happen years ago when Pepsi Cola did blind test around the USA. People who swore by Coca Cola or RC Cola most often picked Pepsi in blind study.
    I find it interesting.

People can be fanatics about brands of coffee and coffee makers. It is amazing the lengths people go to to brew the perfect cup of coffee. I don't claim to be a expert coffee maker nor am I a coffee snob but we do like coffee at my house. I have friends that tell me I make the best cup of coffee, possibly they are not that particular.:p I always tell them my secret is I use a cheap drip coffee maker and cheap coffee.;)

I'm good with deathwish coffee. I bought quite a few items from there. But, I will say their K-cups are rather expensive, but nice.
