   Since this morning the display of my computer has gone awry. Especially at the sides. The colours have changed to blue green yellow and they look horrid. Any idea what I can do?

   Double check that the cable from your PC to the monitor is firmly connected, even if you have to remove it and re-plug it in.
   
   If a CRT monitor then you may try degausing it if the button or option is present on the monitor or menus ( maybe the button or option has icon like magnet on it )
