Com Port

    The software i use "Error fly professional" is unable to locate the interface cable - it gives message "please plug the interface cable into the com port" - i tried uninstalling and reinstalling the com ports ;; Unable to locate com port is the other message i get.

    I HAVE TRIED UNINSTALLING AND REINSTALLING THE SOFTWARE TOO :eek:

    Hi jackmailsu,

    I recently built a new system and had a interesting find that may help. I found that the game port and the parallel port were diabled in BIOS, dont know if the same can be done for COM ports but you might want to check out the BIOS to see if the COM port your trying to use is enabled.
