We just updated our computer labs from xp to win7 pro 32bit. Now on shut-down all of the computers that have the Gigabyte GA-N650SLI-DS4 motherboard go into a sleep mode that you can not wake the computer up from. You have to either hold the power button for the 10 count or turn off the power supply and restart the computer. The systems that have the older motherboards are working fine. This happens on manual shut-downs as well as remote. Any Ideas?

Have you checked sleep option in the BIOS and\or power saving? This is most likely something to look at that Windows 7 might handle differently. Also you can go to control panel, power option although I think BIOS settings may address this.

Thanks for responding, yes I checked the sleep options in BIOS and I even updated the BIOS to the latest version from Gigabyte. The control panel is power mngmnt. options are set to never/never. I even disabled firewire because I read that it was causing issues with some instances of win7. I still have the same issue.
