Combining Partitions

I have a Hard Drive thats 300gb seperated into 4 partitions. It has none of my programs or anything on it, I partitioned it mostly to keep MP3s and videos on one partition, Games on another, and then 2 more for storage. Now, I know you can combine two partitions, as I already did it with 2 of them (Originally had 5 partitions), but for some reason, I cant remember for the life of me how I did it. Im using Disk Manager, because the partitions Im combining are both empty. I was just wanting to know how to combine two of them. I probably figured out how to do it by accident when playing with Disk Manager the other day, and Im hoping that someone on here can point me in the right direction. As it stands right now my partitions look like this in Disk Manager:

Partition 1 (E: ) | Partition 2 (F: ) | Partition 3 (G: ) | Partition 4 (H: )

I want to combine Partition 1 and Partition 4, and Im hoping that its possible, even though they arent being shown as next to each other, and thats why I cant figure it out. I appreciate any help!

EDIT:
Partition 2 has a lot of my game installs on it, and I would REALLY prefer not to have to uninstall all of them and then reinstall them all over again.

 

As I understand it a partition is a single continuous section of a hard disk. Therefore you cannot combine (merge) partitions 1 and 4 because they are not next to each other.

Since partitions 1 and 4 are both empty you do not need to merge them.

What are your current partition sizes and what are you aiming at when you have 3 partitions? You can use partition management software to manipulate them.

Or you could do the following:

Copy everything from partition 2 onto partition 4
Delete partitions 1 and 2
Create a new partition in the free space originally occupied by 1 + 2.
