Combofix disabled Explorer.exe

After running Combofix, the desktop is blank after the computer boots up. Explorer.exe can be started manually from the task manager. Is there a way to recover whatever Combofix removed so it will load the desktop like it's supposed to? I found Qoobox, but am not sure how to reinsert whatever is needed. Thanks.

Why were you running ComboFix? If it was because you had malware, you need to do these instructions so we can see what all was removed:

READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide

Attach the requested logs, but don't re-run Combo. Just attach the Qoobox folder.

Not a good idea as that thread is addressing problems with a different system than yours.

Thanks for the wise advice. I have been delayed in working on this because the computer's owner is not back from traveling. I will try to come back to this problem at a later day. I appreciate your time.
