    Good Morning all, I've tried downloading Combofix from nearly all the usual recommended places today but all of them are dated 21/01/09 and consiquently when run say its out of date and will run in reduced mode... anyone having the same problem?

    Hi there and welcome to the forums.

    Have you tried downloading from here at majorgeeks? If your machine is infected and you are trying to clean it up, then we have our own procedures to follow which involves more than just the running of combofix. See the below:

    Hi Kestrel, thanks for your response. We use combofix on a daily basis here for clients machines when they come in with potential malware etc. The machine in question at the moment is running malwarebytes. I have downloaded combofix from majorgeeks but it is also version_09_01_21.04 which shows as out of date when run.

    Same thing is happening with me. Thought it might be a virus altering it but also gives me the same error on a clean machine.

    Tried re-downloading from again from each mirror but it's the same each time.

    Seems to have resolved itself now, Combofix is now updated, must have been a lapse!
