command and conquer start up problem

im trying to start up command and conquer, and when i open the program it goes to the start window, then a black screen then bounces back to the desktop with an error along hte lines of "there was a serious error"

basically im asking what would be causing the problem and how can i fix it.

grrr no one ever listens and yes i read the fricking link, it tells me to post lots of information what do u want the system specs well here u go... the pc isnt mine so i cant look directly at it untill tomorrow but heres a rough idea of what there is

64 mb vid card
1 gig ram
1.8 processor amd

hay maybe of u woulda read my post stating "the computer isnt mine and im not sure of the complet specs ill have to check tomorrow ......." then u would know that i dont have the complete information, meaning u dont need to be a complete and total jack ###. and you could juat as easily ask me to wait till i can get the system information and post it tommorow, in which case i will be able to help u.

now do u see how easy it would be to actually be polite rather then making some one wonder what you are looking for?

Heres the real kicker, if you don't/can't get the info, why bother posting.

 

why does it matter if the cpu is yours? just download one of the links Omegamer, and tells us what it says. we need to know about your computer to know what the possible origins of the problem could be.
