Comodo 3.0 Error 109 Update Problem

Have been all over Comodo's User Forums, Faq pages, User Guide (wrong version), & Major Geeks posts on Comodo without luck for this updating problem:

When I try for a manual update, which I've been doing for the last week, at various times of day, I'm told new updates are available and I indicate that I want to download them. The update begins, and the progress report goes up as high as 13% before stopping. After a long delay I receive this message: " Error 109 - Update could not be completed. Internet connection got lost halfway during download of update, please check your internet connection settings."

I can find no problem with my internet settings, and normally have no problem downloading updates to various programs, or otherwise in using the internet (Firefox 2.00.14). - My internet connection is not lost at any time during the update process.

Can't find any way to set the program for automatic updating. The Tray icon occasionally pops up an "updates are available" balloon, but it always disappears too quickly for me to click it. - Running under Windows XP Pro SP2.

Help will be appreciated!

 

Comodo Update Problem

I read the "Finally Resolved" postings on my Commodo update Error 109 problem, and, accordingly, have contacted my ISP (Comcast) to see if the problem could be resolved at their end. They say the download failure is not caused by anything at their end. - I do not have a proxy server and cannot find anyway to obtain the updates. Is there any resolution available?

 

Submitted a Trouble Ticket yesterday. We'll see.
