Ok I get home from the store today, started up the pc and I've got an error message from bo-clean.

So I clicked send error report and tried to restart it from the start menu and the got the same error message. Ok, I figured I'd restart the pc and try to run it again and as soon as the pc started up I got that message. After that, I decided to simply uninstall the program and re-install it. Nope, when I went to uninstall it, I got that error message. I tried using Ccleaner and Revo to uninstall the stubborn thing but yep you guessed it.. I got that stupid error message.

So, what should/can I do now since it obviously doesnt want to work or uninstall either? rolleyes

    Thanks!

Boot in safe mode, and try to uninstall it. If it still doesn't uninstall, remove any Comodo entries from the registry startup keys and manually delete the Comodo folder from C:\Program Files. Then reboot in normal mode and run CCleaner on the registry to remove any possible leftover entries. Here's the reg keys you'll want to look for:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/Current Version/Run (and RunOnce and RunOnceEx)
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/... the rest is the same....
while you're in the registry, you can probably remove any Comodo entries you see also as long as you have no other Comodo software installed. You can run a search using 'Comodo' as the keyword, or just go the HKLM/Software and look for Comodo, and go to HKCU/Software and look there too....

BE CAREFUL when mucking about in the registry! Back it up before doing anything or at least back up the keys you plan to modify before making any changes. I accept no responsibility for any problems that may arise from reg-edits. If you're not comfortable or have zero experience with reg-mods, don't do it.

You need to be sure that BOClean is shut down from the icon in the task bar before the uninstall. Make an extra check in task manager via Ctrl+Alt+Del. Then it should work normally through Add/Remove Programs.
