Comodo Firewall [High Ping]

    Is it normal to have high ping if you have installed a firewall?


    I recently installed Comodo Firewall and it has a settings that change your DNS to their own secured DNS. After that i have 500ms ping and TTL 128

    No, it is not normal to have a long ping time.
    Don't know if Comodo automatically turns Off the Windows firewall during install, so you should check to verify that it has been deactivated.

    AFAIK, it is not necessary to use the Comodo DNS server.
    You should be able to reset that to the previous DNS settings or use OpenDNS.
