Comodo Firewall Registry Leftovers (i Can't Delete Them)

theres a few registry entries left in the "legacy" section of the registry from comodo firewall. i cant delete them........i cant right click them and allow "full control" permissions over them in order to delete them. this issue has caused windows firewall to basically break because wfw now says it cant be the default firewall because comodo is still installed.......but its technically not. need some help guys. where my geeks at? . im very close to just reformatting this pos.....

 

Two solutions - try the first and if it doesn't work try the second.

First option - If you don't have it install CCleaner free and run the Cleaner, and then the Registry > Scan for all issues > FIX all issues (agreeing to the back up) and then run the Registry Scan > Fix all issue enough times until ZERO issues found.

Restart your system.

If the above does not work, now do this:

Second option:
REINSTALL Comodo Firewall from a new set up file.
Now use (or install if you don't have either) either Revo Uninstaller Free or IoBit Uninstaller free and now UNINSTALL Comodo Firewall.
In Revo Uninstaller after the standard uninstall screen you must use the ADVANCED scan method and make sure you remove everything it finds.
In IoBit Uninstaller after the 'standard' uninstall screens you must choose POWERFUL scan and make sure you delete everything it finds.

Now restart your system and run CCleaner > Cleaner AND CCleaner > Registry and as before as many times until ZERO issues found.

You must carry out each step carefully and exactly as described.
