comodo security

    i'v installed comodo anti virus & firewall on a new pc & it seems to be working but if i run a scan it stops at about 1700 objects & if i stop the scan it freezes the system. anyone else have this problem?

    Can you tell what file or folder it is getting stuck on?

    It's usually best to clean your disk then restart the computer just before running a virus scan. CCleaner is good and free. Be sure to run it on all user accounts and only use the Cleaner and not the Registry cleaner (unless you are 110% positive you know what you are doing).

    i use cc cleaner daily, i do use the registry cleaner tho & admitidly dont know what it does, i'v always just trusted it & never had probs before.
