Compaq Armada M700 XP

Hi all,

I have just joined so I am a bit wet behind the ears :-o

I have been looking for drivers for a Compaq Armada M700 on XP its the ethernet / lan driver I am looking for, it would be nice to find all the drivers eventually.

Any help very welcome

If (for some bizarre reason), you have problems after following the links provided by the VERY capable tgell, please post and let us know exactly what you tried and where things stand now.



(BTW - HP/Compaq is fairly famous for abandoning driver support for older PCs- both towers and laptops; many are the times I have gone to their site only to find one driver for a particular system, and the single driver was something worthless like a keyboard driver update!)

I had a rather worn out Armada M700 mainly for my girlfriend to go on facebook, the screen was floppy and there must have been a bad connection or damaged wire to the screen as white changed to blue every now and then the dc power jack became loose so that was the death of it, So I had a look on Ebay and found one being sold as spares / repairs all it needed was a battery a HDD and operating system so I swapped them from my own and ended up with a Compaq Armada M700 in much better condition than the previous one :celebrate

not sure why the driver went missing:confused
