Compaq Presario F730US would not start

Hi, I'm having a problem with my compaq. I haven't used it for a while however the other when I turned it on, It came on showed the compaq logo and restarted. An now everytime you turn it on, it's just recycling through that same sequence. Logo screen restart. I tried removing the memory, hard drive,and the dvd drive. still does the same thing. I also tried f10,Esc,f3,etc. nothing seems to work. What could be the problem? OS is Windows Vista Home Premium

 

your HD is Corrupted,put the bootable winxp and repair it

 

No Haven't called them as yet, Warranty is up. Compaq Presario F730US Notebook PC, OS- Windows Vista Home Premium, AMD 64 Anthlon X2,2G Mem.

 

also note, It would not read the Installation CD, Nor would go into the bios when I press F10, It just freezes.it acts as if it's reading the CD buts just stop and do nothing, not even restart. OH one quick note: It stays on with a blank screen once you use the Installation Cd.

 

my gf compaq presario sr2011wm desk top is doing the same thing and when it does disk and usb wont start

 

Disconnect the battery and hold the power button in as it will start to load and keep holding until it shuts off and then let it turn off while still holding the button. I held mine for a good two minutes and then rebooted. This worked for my 710US. This is a quirky and overheating system.
