Compaq Presario V2000

Hi I need some help please to any one. I need the drivers for the Compaq V2000. Processor AMD Turion64.

I went to HP web page but it is not giving me the right drivers to handle the following:

Mass Storage
Network Controller
PCI Modem
SM Bus Controller
Universal Bus (USB)
Video Controller

I am using windows XP Service pack 2

Please if you have a link where i could find this drivers I would appretiated

Hi

Could you narrow down the exact model of the V2000 series you have as their are 82 of them!!

But knwing its an AMD CPU tend to link it to the ATi 200M chipset and the drivers are part of the Graphics set of drivers as they cover Chipset and Graphics, the Chipset are the ones responsible for Mass Driver, SM Bus etc and the model here is the V2402AU

But if you find the exact model number we can help with exact driver set and use this or the below quoted text to help

To find this info you can use the likes of Everest to find this info, at times a summary log of your PC can help, to do this

Install Everest and run
Click Report (top menu) > Report Wizard > Next
Choose All Pages > Next
Choose Plain Text > Finish and wait for report to generate
Click Save to File and leave the File Name as Report, then click the Save as Type dropdown and choose Report files (*txt) and click Save (n.b. Save to desktop is best as easy place to find it, use Browse to locate desktop)

Then attach your log to your next post as per these instructions HOW TO: Attach Items To Your Post

it says presario v2000 and it does not say anythings else. i can give you the the serial number CNF608oK97 and product number EP381UA#ABA

Also I attach the Emerest Report.
Please help

Hi

Yes either the driver I listed for the V2402 above or this one from ATi will do as they are for the 200M Chipset as I have same in one laptop and use the Ati one, get full driver.
