   How do you measure your periphials compatibility with Win XP? I have to break down and finally get a new computer. Mine is 6 years old and wanted to know if Microsoft has a site where you can check this information.

   You could try the downloadable Upgrade Advisor, which is the same one that comes with the XP install CD, also linked in MrPs link above as the best option.
