    was wondering if anyone out there knows if a nvidia 8800 will work with a BIOSTAR P4M900M4 478 VIA P4M900 motherboard?

    Your mobo has a 16x PCI Express slot so yes it will be compatible.

    yes I understand that but I have read that the chipset on the motherboard doesent support the 8800?
