Compatible Processors

    I have this semi old motherboard that my uncle gave me, all I know is that it supports socket 462 processors, 2GB of 266 ram and it sports a 8x AGP graphics. I am going to buy a Socket A processor, are they going to be compatible? or am I gonna need a Socket A motherboard as well? thanks

    Socket A or Socket 462 it's the same thing.
    A socket A CPU has 462 pins, Understand?
